We know the difficulties that companies face in the transition to the next generation. This is why we closely involve sellers in the planning and operational transition of companies. In order to be able to continue to use the valuable knowledge of sellers, we make use of partnership-based advisory models or, for example, advisory board models.
Dr. Johannes Viehhauser
Dr. Johannes Viehhauser studied business administration and mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich, where he also completed his doctorate. He has 9 years of international experience in strategy consulting at Roland Berger with a focus on strategy and value creation programs. In addition to his role as Managing Director at Gen2 Capital, he has been Managing Director at SCHAEFER Precision Manufacturing since 2025, where he is responsible for production and technology.
Maximilian Krause
Maximilian Krause studied business administration at the European Business School. He has 8 years of professional experience at various leading management consultancies with a focus on restructuring and transformation programs. In addition to his role as Managing Director at Gen2 Capital, he has been Managing Director at SCHAEFER Precision Manufacturing since 2025, where he is responsible for sales and finance.

We focus on the acquisition and further development of small and Medium-sized companies in the DACH region, the Benelux countries and Northern Italy – particularly in succession, management buy-in and carve-out situations. We aim to acquire profitable companies with annual sales of 5 to 25 million Euro, a strong market position, a robust customer base and promising growth perspectives.
